It is with sadness that we have learned of the death of Sue Style, author of the recent book on Switzerland entitled "The Landscape of Swiss Wine". Sue Style was appreciated by the producers she attended, warm and endearing personality, she was an honest observer of the wine world.

Swiss winegrowers certainly had their moment in the spotlight on October 24th. Following on from 2018's historic vintage, there were no less than 3254 wines entered in the Grand Prix du Vin Suisse 2019. Of the 544 wineries who entered, around 80 made the short list, and only 39 won awards at the Gala du Vin Suisse.
